Front drive unit failure at 40 miles

My experience with the towing was similar in that Rivian was quick to arrange the tow but I was at the mercy of the company they contracted. I was stuck in left lane of busy intersection in rush hour which would necessitate the tow truck being in front and blocking the cross traffic. Two two truck companies or agents canceled once they learned the details. Third one came at three hours in and worked at light speed to get out of that intersection.

According to everybody I talked to at Rivian service, and I talked to a lot of them, this is the first time they have seen this on a production unit. I was out under the impression they have seen it but only on pre production units

So, this thread being about a year old, OP did the problem reoccur?
