Ok this tracks with the 20" ATs still getting fairly close to the 300 miles of range mark. Wonder what the Off Road package will do?

The other interesting tidbit is "48 kWh/100 mi"

48kWh / 100 mi * 314 mi = 150kWh battery

Closer to 270 based on the Rivian website. Off road package will drop it even more, I would imagine.

Nothing measurable. It’s tow hooks and some more skid plates.

And added weight. Beefed up skid plates aren’t typically very light.

Based on this new info I’m guessing around 250 miles for my configuration. (20’s, off-road pkg, full size spare)

I‘m very interested to see what the differences/additions are with regards to underbody protection.

Assuming tests were done in AWD mode, and one could switch to conserve, I guess for long trips I could switch modes and get closer to 300. Also hoping these EPA tests are on the Ford and Porsche side of the spectrum and not Tesla.

When I fill my Tesla with stuff and go on a trip the efficiency does not drop appreciably or noticeably. Rolling weight at speed isn't a huge deal. Those tow hooks would subtly affect aerodynamics. The bigger question here is what tires/wheels were used for the test.

My heart hopes for the 20s but am expecting the 21s to be the answer.
