A dangerous rookie mistake I did and this could happen to you too

Serious question - front end collision prevention is a thing right (ie car slams on brakes to avoid hitting things in front of you), shouldn't rear end collision prevention be a thing?

Rear automatic braking is standard or an option on many vehicles. My Subaru has it, and it would be nice to see it on more vehicles.
