Just got my R1S Dual Max yesterday. On pickup last week the AC blew and while they were fixing that they were "meant" to also fix one of the two buttons that opens the center console. They didn't. Basically clicking it does nothing. I also noted yesterday that the passenger side flap does not open all the way and makes a click sound when you gently push it all the way open. Made a service appointment - June!!

There doesn't seem to be a specific DIY section in this forum. Does anyone know how to remove those two flaps and access the buttons. Im sure there is just a connector that is loose, and maybe dust or grime or left over manufacturing bits for the flap stiffness. Would rather just fix it myself at this point, if thats possible.

I've not seen anything in nearly 3 years on what you're asking about. I can say having dorked around extensively in the center console, it's not something that is immediately / easily available.

You're probably best off to call service, unfortunately.
