Distances between R1S cargo bar mount points

Because I couldn't find them online anywhere, I measured the distances between the cross bar mounting points and am sharing them here. This might help those making roof storage and accessory decisions like I am.

• Rear point to center point: 27"
• Center point to front point: 36"
• Rear point to front point: 63"

Be advised that the rear point is a little bit lower in height from the ground level than the center point. I couldn't find a precise enough way to measure how much lower, though.

Set a laser level across the top of the front and center cross bar. measure the Hight difference from the laser level's beam to the top of the rear cross bar. Use a tripod if you only have the two cross bars.

I really think they should have added a 4th mounting point. I was able to get my XXL Thule to fit on the rear to center but it hangs over the back so I can't lift the hatch up all the way without it hitting the carrier. it doesn't fit from center to front and would hang over a bit if it did.
