DCF charging after last update

I took a road trip yesterday for the first time after the last update. At the recommended charging stops. The charging time suggested on arrival was about 35 minutes. After 15 minutes or so the suggested charging time increased by another 35 minutes. Why would the time be automatically updated while charging? Does anyone understand this?

The amount of energy going into the battery was less than projected upon arrival. Lots of factors that could cause reality to be different than the projection.

The charging speed was slower than expected. I have had this happen to me prior to the 46 update and that is the reason.

Lower charging speed is often due to issues with the charger, like it is temperature limited or it's sharing power with another charger and so the power delivered is lower. Or it's just a piece of crap EA charger and it doesn't work very well.

Also depends on the load across all of the chargers. Higher demand results in slower charging speeds. Temp of your battery is a big factor as well

You could also be looking at two different things. I've noticed that the "time to continue trip" turns into "time to complete charge" once you've passed the first.
