Anybody live close to the Denver SC? Did y’all get hail yesterday? Worried for all those beautiful vehicles sitting out unprotected, mine included.

I’m just east of it by a mile or two. Nothing big enough to cause damage. Should be fine.

That said, I was thinking that the SC is probably going to need to install some protection in their storage lot asap, just like all those dealerships out in Lakewood do. Rivian has a ton of very expensive inventory just hanging out waiting to be damaged.

I’m a bit concerned about my truck at this point. I think Jewell Collision was in the path of a good part of that hail. I’ve sent them a couple emails just to check the status on my truck and they went radio silent. They didn’t even reply to inquiries from the insurance company.

I can tell from the Rivian app that my truck has never once moved from the spot it was originally placed in at the parking lot.

I was in Longmont at a soccer tournament yesterday and saw a brand new silver R1T (still had the temp tags) and the entire hood was pockmarked from hail and the windshield was shattered in multiple places. Made me sick I felt so bad for the owner.

Yea, it’s a tight parking area. My truck is in the back. I’m going to go by there on Wednesday if I don’t hear from them by then.

Hi All, curious if there are any Rivian meet-ups or trail days planned during July? I'm heading out (from Kansas City area) in my R1T and will mostly be living out of the RTT for the month. In addition to the obvious camping, I'm planning on some road and mountain biking, and some light wheeling (nothing too serious since I'll have bikes hanging off the back). I'll specifically be be around the i70 corridor between Denver and Glenwood Springs. Pretty flexible overall given the sleeping arrangement!

Think it depends on your wheel size, but I have the 22's and sitting on a pair of Michelin X-Ice XL's that will be going on this winter that have the correct load rating.

The 20's come with 3-peak rated Perellis. They were fine last winter. Not spectacular, but good enough for around town and weekend trips to the mountains.

These are mine. With kids in tow, I don't like to take many chances in the mountains and for ~$1,000 and multiple seasons of usage, it's like insurance when I'm up there to make sure we are all safe!

Hard to say as I took delivery in March and only had them on for a short period of time this year.
