Captured on my security cam when the Rivian tech was out to deliver my full sized spare.

the truck will occasionally make this bizarre sound. The tech said it has something to do with Bluetooth connecting but that doesn’t sound right to me. It doesn’t happen all the time, and I don’t seem to have the ability to repeat it when I want.

Guessing, but BT connection should not be audible outside the vehicle? Is it the proximity locking?

Mine makes that noise all the damn time. I'm not sure what it is either but I assumed it was Gear Guard "alerting" someone who is too close to the vehicle. This noise happens when its locked, unlocked, and I've even had it happen when doors were open.

I think that's the same sound my camp speaker makes when it gets a new connection. Truck might've made the sound before too.

Mine makes that sound for a few reasons. Leaving the door open for a long time, leaving my phone in the truck, leaving it in Drive or Rev and leaving the truck, probably other things I'm not aware of.

Echoing all of the above, it's the general "hey, did you forget something?" sound. I find it to be like a nagging Aunt, I always yell back at it, "YEAH, I KNOW."
