I'm heading on a road trip to an area where access to chargers is pretty scarce. As such I need to make sure that I purchase the right adapters for the portable charging kit that comes with the Rivian. I have a bad track record of purchasing the wrong items in this area so would appreciate the help of the forum. Here are the plugs that I will have access to on the trip. Can anyone link to the Amazon items that would be the right adapter for each of these? Thank you.

2nd one looks like a 6-50. 6-50 just has two hots and a ground. 14-50 has a neutral. You will need a 6-50 to 14-50 adapter.

To use that this adapter should work:
https://amzn.to/4e1sl33

Also R stands for receptacle and P is for plug. So for the 6-50R you need a 6-50P to 14-50R adapter ?

5-50 is 125 volt, but the image shows it is 250 V, 50 amps rating. The long spade is on the wrong side to be 5-50

I am merely reading a chart, I am not an electrician

I did have to take electrical safety in my training for hooking up diagnostic equipment on patients. Our EMG machine could deliver up to 400 volts, but low amperage for shocking patients on nerve conduction studies. I didn’t like doing nerve conduction studies on patients with central lines near their heart because the machine could deliver enough shock that would be ‘bad’ for the heart if current traveled down the central line.

I am not an expert here is my opinion. Your 1st image is a 14-50 R and the Rivian supplied mobile charger should plug directly into that. The 2nd image is a 6-50 P, to use that you will need a 6-50P to 14-50R adapter. Something like this one from Amazon NEMA 6-50P to 14-50R EV Charger Adpater. I personally have a 6-50P to 14-50R, a 10-30P to 14-50R and a 14-30P to 14-50R and have found these to be the most common in my travels over the last 2+ years. Good Luck!

Where did you get your data? I pull about 1 mph on a 5-15 and 27mph on my 11.5 kw Tesla home charger.

It's just math. If you're putting in 1.4kW, and the truck is rated to use about 460 watts per mile, do the math from there. And it's obviously roughly estimated and will change with parasitic loads and such.

You might want to remove your post because all of your numbers are incorrect. It’s more than just a simple math problem. The efficiency of the vehicle is determined by which tires are used and the drive mode, among many other factors. Also the vehicle is not going to charge faster then 48 amps unless you are on a dc super charger.
