Carjacking- How to stop it?

Apparently lemmings are born every minute.

I keep bear spray in my door pouch as a minimum. I have several other effective methods of self defense from inside my vehicle as well.

Lastly, "flooring it" may not be an option.

I live by two rules:

1) Don't piss into the wind.
2) Don't spray bear spray into the wind.

So far these two rules have kept me alive and happy!

Indeed. The Brownies I’ve encountered where I THOUGHT I might need the spray, just got bored and wandered off..fortunate too cuz it was windy

My understanding is the primary reason to own guns is so that civilians can protect themselves from all enemies both foreign and domestic, so as to prevent a government to from becoming tyrannical.

Car thefts and car jacking are two very different things. And car jacking is down 78% since 1995. Thefts are way down too but people only want to hear what happened last month and freak out instead of looking at long term trends.

I think it’s kinda fun that odds are I would get out with my phone in my pocket and dude wouldn’t be able to go anywhere. Hopefully I’d be far enough away before he realized he has no key.

I haven’t tested it but I assume if you are in drive and your key walks way that it puts itself in park.
