Even Rivian does it. And do not try to shoot the messenger. Just look at the latest Rivian update; it copied the outside mirrors tilting downward when on reverse, straight out of the Tesla playbook.
Uh, no, lots of cars have had tilting mirrors for a while now. I actually hate the tilting, I always turn it off in my rental cars. My R1S does some things better than my Y. The Y does some things better, like geofenced operation of the garage door. But Tesla made me pay about $300 for the garage door opener. That was stupid.

The one thing Tesla has going for it is financial muscle. That is allowing to keep the "bang for the buck" crown - for the moment. Tesla is losing the Chinese market to competition and alienated its most receptive market in the rest of the developed world. That have real issues.

I've only seen the AC start automatically once, and it was reading over 135 degrees inside the cabin. At 100 degrees, doesn't seem like we really should be worried. We just have too much information at our disposal nowadays. Let the car do its thing. These expensive machines do not need to babied so much.
It's ME that needs to be babied. I do not want to climb in from a 105 degree outside to a 135 degree interior thank you. 95 is tolerable, 135 is not. I want to be able to touch the steering wheel.

Tucson -- the place where the outside air temp in July feels like the greenhouse inside of my vehicle in Michigan.
More like a dry sauna. Even in the July monsoon season the humidity doesn't get above 40% or so unless it's during an actual downpour. In May or June it's likely 5%.

I have a good screen for the front windshield but any more than that is just a PITA when the car could easily take care of it. And anyone who lives here automatically is drawn to any nearby shade, on foot in a vehicle, whatever. This instinct becomes ingrained and operates at all times and places.
