Another Bloomberg article suggesting electric pickups & SUVs will herald a Detroit revival. Let's hope so. The most interesting point is how electric motors can scale across a maker's entire lineup of vehicles. And the same might be said of batteries, especially solid state batteries, when they finally get to commercial scale.

Can't have a revival in Detroit if Michigan state reps keep crapping on the entire EV industry.

the Groundswell of press now starting to include Rivian is rising. Although this article was about EV winners and losers they did put Rivian in a good light and blamed COVID-19 for delaying production.

and if anybody has not seen The Long Way up it is a good documentary And it was nice to see RJ and the Rivian’s. Here and there shroughout the episodes.

By the time an IPO hits the public, all the money has already been made.
For example QuantumScape is only up 294% since they went public. And Luminar 164%. Both only a few weeks ago. And, of course, Tesla's astonomical gains only came this year.

"There’s even an option for a pull-out kitchen and work station."

That's a little puzzling. Like a kitchen/kitchen workstation? Or an option for a kitchen and an option for a workstation?

Neither of those were IPOs. They went public through a SPAC merger.

If an IPO moons it means the underwriter screwed up the pricing. They gave away ownership of the company for less than they could have received.

Probalby a refernce to the Rvian Shuttle System mentioned with the ktichen. That would allow other things to be pulled out.
