Yeah, I can do the experiment myself, but figured I'd ask: does anyone know if the windows lock when "Pet Comfort Mode" is engaged? My dog (sweet little hellspawn that she is) figured out how to open the windows within seconds of her first trip in the R1T. I _love_ that I can take her places in safety with the new mode, but all that is nullified if she opens the windows! Thanks for the input!

It does not lock windows. I am sitting in my R1S now with per comfort on, but rest of car off. Windows work fine.

Make her wear one of these suits and she will be so annoyed she will forget about the windows.

OMG! What were they thinking? On the other hand, she _loves_ her poofy winter parka and learned to appreciate silicone booties--we get really bad ice around here. ("Frozen fog"--I never even heard of that until I moved to the Midwest!)

It does lock the windows for back seat, I think. When I used it over the weekend, the kids said we can’t open the windows and my son told me it’s because pet mode is on.

I’m pretty sure when a key and human is outside of the Rivian and it locks, the window buttons wont work. I may get adventurous and have my husband lock me inside and test out that theory.

We left our hyper Weims unattended may times and no windows have ever opened.

Wait, there is such a mode? That's what I used on the Tesla, but thought we didn't have that. And pet mode on the Tesla disables all buttons, but not keep. So if I left my wife in the car, I used ...pet mode of course!

I don’t see it, but I’m in the car now and tested pet mode and I was wrong. The rear screen gets locked but the windows are active.

I think the linked article referred to Tesla's "keep" mode, not something Rivian has--yet. That does seem like something worth requesting, however! All the info that Rivian gives on "Pet Comcort Mode" includes statements about never using it with children and never leaving children unattended. I don't quite see how Rivian or Tesla would be comfortable having something similar that was explicitly for humans, but I'll let them figure that out.

Clearly, "Spouse Mode" is also something to explore!

Also Parent Mode, I have a great photo of my dad in the passenger seat of his Model S zonked out in pet mode at the grocery store.
But I only sent it to my sister, not 3.7 million views ?

I haven't used pet mode yet but would it be better to simply walk away from the vehicle and turn the AC on from the app? This would lock all the windows I presume? You can also check the app to make sure the temp is reflecting that the AC is on.

Define "better." Pet mode has some specific parameters, plus also keeps your settings. The remote AC start doesn't keep settings such as seats being cooled and the floor vents on. Which is annoying as hell, I want all that on for the entire summer.
