Now if we can just get RJ to approve a "Fug Musk, Fug Musk, Fug Musk" sound for the horn on the R1T and R1S, then I think we'd have a real weiner!

Sounds like he has OCD Like the ppl who have to turn the door knob a certain amount of times before opening and after closing. The Rivian "lock" sound is one of the best features IMO. It is quiet, discreet, and not obnoxious at all. On all my vehicles I either disable the lock sound or reduce the volume to the minimum. With my R1T, I don't feel the need to change anything.
Compared to my neighbor's F-150, which he insists on locking three or four times in a row just to be sure, even at 2am. The F-150 has a super loud honk, which can't be disabled or made softer. IDK why he can't just manually lock it and walk away. Or why he can't just press the FOB button once to lock the vehicle and hear the solenoids throw the locks closed. No, he has to click the FOB button two, three, four times ... I counted 16 times once.
Wait a minute, the fan noise I’m hearing at times is just a sound the vehicle makes to make pedestrians aware I’m in their vicinity?I think I'm in the 'like' camp. Can't say I even realised there was an active PWS system in the R1T. It's just the fan noise I guess? In 3 months it's been rare to have someone else drive the car while I've been standing near it. The newer Teslas have a super noticeable UFO-landing sound - glad it's not that.
The turn and lock sounds are fine IMO. The turn signal is very low and I've caught myself having the signal on far longer than needed many times, especially with music on pretty loud (which is always as a Stones fan).
The only thing that really bothers me is the removal of the Halloween sounds. Once an OTA puts stuff in, it should be left there as an option going forward.
Well sometimes you can hear a cooling fan, like probably when supercharging. But the sound you can hear from outside the vehicle when it backs up is totally an annoying low speed sound thing. IMHO, it sounds like an ICE car.Wait a minute, the fan noise I’m hearing at times is just a sound the vehicle makes to make pedestrians aware I’m in their vicinity?
I thought that fan was to cool the batteries.
