Wow I did not know the back windows leave a tiny sliver of glass up...that hurts my brain. WHY.

Wow thanks for the shout-out @OutofSpecKyle for my novel of a post; felt a bit self-conscious posting it but your posts (seriously Rivian owes you so much as an ambassador for their brand) have really helped me analyze these vehicles to death.

thanks for checking the frunk & for remembering that the VIN was critical for that analysis too!

huge thanks to you for being so responsive to the community. Without more opportunities to test-drive these vehicles or see them out in the wild, it’s HUGELY helpful for you to so enthusiastically canvass the community for our Qs & take so much care in responding. It’s awesome!

I think you can see there would be not enough space to roll it down as the wheel well is there

Why? What does it matter if an inch or two doesn’t go down all the way?
Mine goes all the way down. I just checked. R1S.

He has done a lot (which helps his own channel) but Rivian did reward him with preferential pricing and sipped of delivery from reservation which was unprecedented. He is doing Ok!

Third row was better than I expected, at least when operated by two tall people. I like the back roof line, unlike Kyle. I also think the need to automate the lower tailgate was overstated. Obviously the design is to simply lift the groceries over the lower section.

I didn't know the R1S had an inverter. Is the only plug in back?

Agree with you about the 3rd row and the tailgate.

Hopefully they submitted a service ticket for that...that better not be the way it should work
