Level 2 chargers that will always be in use by PHEVs and Teslas.

The level two chargers can top off EV batteries in just a few hours.
They seem to have a different definition of "a few" than I do. More accurate would be "if you stay plugged in all day".

Top off, like if you live locally and travel there in the morning

Dumb way to spend money. I doubt the people at Rivian making the decision to install these Level 2 chargers have travelled much by EV.

Level 2 at motels and possibly work is not dumb, of course.

Imagine if recreational areas offered free gas with a 2 gallon limit, but this service was usually and unpredictably unavailable.

As a way to reliably charge large EVs, not so awesome. As an enduring marketing campaign to your target demographic in attractive locales, maybe not the dumbest idea.

Love me some Holland. I'd happily stay there for hours while my R1S tops off. ? ☺

If they're near the camping area or all day hiking area, it's fine. Random visitor center only good for a 30 minute visit? Yuck.
