Just enjoyed Utah's National Parks. Total miles driven 1,885 miles averaged 2.04 miles/kWh. Charing started at 100% from home. Used RAN only once in LV. All other DCFC chargers at Tesla SC with the membership the I'd signed up just for the road trip - much lower cost than RAN. Now cancelled (I only use DCFC on road trips).

No issue with charge stations through out the drive. Tesla SC well placed along I-15 and I-70. Also Tesla SC in Bryce Canyon City, and Moab. Charged to 80% in Washington and visited Zion. Drove from Zion to Mosquite NV on the return (had a great time at their annual classic car show at the same lot where the Tesla SC was located - bonus!). Final charge at Baker and made it home with 20% left.

The images from each park visited.

EDIT:
Had a chance to calculate the total charging cost: $342 for 1,885 miles.

It's $0.18/mile on the electric charges alone. With witnessed gas prices of $2,85~$2.35/gal, it would have been cheaper to drive our ICE vehicle. But I would have also suffered high altitude performance issue with ICE (non-turbo).

The Bryce photo is great. Was that a hike up from a road? If so, how long and difficult was the hike?
The image for Bryce was taken at the far end of the Rim Trail look out point.

I didn't post any images but we did hike down into the canyon about 1,000' and coming back up was tough. Not just the height/up hill trail, but more to do with thinner air at over 8,000' altitude. We live near sea-level in comparison. Bryce was our first stop so definitely not acclimated to the altitude.

REALLY good images. The Southwest is one of my favorite areas.

Drive out to a lookout point in Bryce Canyon an hour or two before sunrise. With the altitude and dark sky, you can see satellites flying over your head! The morning light in the Canyon is phenomenal.

Nearby note: Hells Backbone Grill in Boulder, Utah is one of the the top ten restaurants from the NYT.
