Better remember to use car wash mode to so the frunk doesn't open in the middle of the wash. That could be a disaster.

I was hoping the lift gate was going to be manual. Oh well, there goes some of my ideas.

My R1S capacitive charge port door press just stopped working again after a few days of freezing snow/sleet this Winter again 😬

Overall, nice video though. Hope it turns out well
Off topic I know, but since you bring it up, the issue with the R1 charge port door freezing is a real PITA for many of us. Someone posted a while back on the importance of keeping a hair dryer in your Rivian for that event. I took that advice, and was glad that I did when the charge port on my R1T was immobilized by a rain-freeze cycle while we were in the Poconos last week. A minute or two with the dryer was enough to free things up.

You will likely need an extension cord to reach the AC outlets on your Rivian, and I would also suggest that you keep in mind that it is possible for the frunk lid to be immobilized in the same way as the charge port door. It is probably a good idea then to not keep the hair dryer and extension cord in the frunk. Don't ask me how I know this.

Is it just me or does the rear end bounce way too much for the small dip leaving the parking lot? Maybe they have a lot of heavy gear in the rear.
I thought the exact same thing.

Rivian posted a video showing a R2 with its power liftgate closing on a cargo area filled with luggage and setting off on a road trip on Route 66.

I thought they were going to use the first one of the assembly line? Oh well, should be a fun trip to follow.

I had the same thought. Seemed excessive
