Looking good. I heavily considered these in the 35x11.5 before I settled on my Yoko’s. I’ll be very interested to follow your overall highway and offroading experience with them!!!

Follow up question -

Did you consider the RT before you settled on the RT Pro version?? And if so what made you choose between the two tread versions?

Yes LT275/65R20 same size as factory at.

Follow up question -

Did you consider the RT before you settled on the RT Pro version?? And if so what made you choose between the two tread versions?
The RT Pro is a newer better version of the RT tire that is better off-road and quieter on-road. Was considering the new XTM in LT and the Yokos that you have but in factory size. I have only driven a few miles on the highway and the city so far but already exceeding my expectations on noise, vibration and handling :)

Isn't the RT a MT/AT hybrid? even less efficient than AT I'd imagine?
Yes a hybrid. I reset my trip A so will see what the efficiency is. I have a rack on top so I already have a bit of an efficiency hit. Lifetime efficiency was 1.88 miles/kw for the Pirelli AT I got 1.91 miles/kw on the short 5 mile drive home at 48 psi. I will update when I get a chance to drive some more on these tires.

Hope you don’t live anywhere with snow. Those tires are trash in the snow but they do decent in the mud.

Tire has only been available for a short time so not sure what tire you are thinking about the original RT?

I am going to test the tires off-road at Hollister hills today. Drive to Hollister was into the wind got 1.7 miles/kwh so far tires at 50 psi cold. Will try 55 psi on the way home.

I aired up to 57psi (hot after off-roading) and the ride stiffer and felt closer to factory at tires at 48psi. The efficiency was improved as well. Trip A still shows lower efficiency than the factory AT but I had some preconditioning and was also off-roading for a couple of hours.

Forgot to mention that the tire did really well at Hollister Hills. Great traction aired down to 32 psi. I probably should have aired down a little more but had no problems with traction on the rocks and dirt.
