From Stock Color to Stunning: My R1S in Dark Blue Wrap

Meet my newly wrapped Rivian R1S Tri She got a classy color upgrade in a gorgeous dark blue (my favorite color!) thanks to the amazing team at @Insomnia_wraps in ATL. Seriously, they nailed it. When this blue wasn’t available, they made it happen, and I love every time I see it!

Now the only problem… she needs a name.

Thank you! Wraps essentially large sheets of vinyl, that adhere to the vehicles exterior, which allows it to change the color while preserving the original color. If you get a good quality wrap you get 5+ yrs of life out of it. It will protect your paint too from paint chips and some scratches. I off road and have loved having cars wrapped and when you sell the car it looks brand new. You can also put ceramic coating over it so you just have to hose it off and it nice and shiny. You can get some interior panels covered, I knew I was going to wrap it dk blue so I ordered the interior to match that, which was Slate Sky so didn't have to do anything in the interior. The original color was El Cap Granite, which is a great color too, I just had my heart set on Dk Blue.

Agree. Rivian should offer colour wraps so you can get a bespoke car.

I meant places like the A pillar, door trim - places normally hidden unless doors are open.

NGL, that looks pretty damn good. The only reason I’ve never got this route is because I really like Rivian Blue and the Launch Green of my old R1T.
