Not a ton of us in Kentucky. I personally know 7 owners which might be a quorum for the state…
But some of the early owners were in Kentucky. Being relatively close to Normal a few of us got invites to an event at the factory in March 22 for early purchases.

We are fortunate to have cheap electricity, generous net metering terms for solar, and probably the least-busy service center in the US (Shepherdsville) with great staff, which doubles as the east coast parts distribution center.

I think this is mostly relevant for the R2 launch. There won't be a lot of R1 leases in Kentucky, but there could be a meaningful number of R2/R3 sales there.

Isn't there also some big EV or battery factories coming to Kentucky in the near future? I forget the company, but I remember seeing something about it in the news. That type of development might get more people open to the idea of EV's once people in the neighborhood start building them.

Happy to hear they are expanding! Where did you see the latest addition? I'm in Indiana and have been waiting for us to be added to lease availability. The website however still does not show KY, or IN. Fingers crossed if they are adding KY, IN may also be part of the mix.

There’s a large battery plant under construction as a joint venture between Ford and SK On. And Ford’s new EV platform will be built at a factory in Louisville.

I you put in a KY zip code you will see leasing as an option. I was told KY will be officially listed “very soon”
