First ever DIY pre-cut Color PPF Wrap for R1S - 12hrs install time

Hey folks

This one has been in the works for many months now but today I am thrilled to announce that our DIY pre-cut PPF wrap for Rivian R1S is finally DONE!
This has been an exhausting, exciting, at times frustrating project as it took a while to make each panel fit perfectly. If you are in the East Bay, CA and saw a semi-wrapped weird looking (in multiple colors) R1S over the past 6 months, that was probably me - testing

Here is the gist of it

• We use 8mil premium TPU PPF - self healing, non-fading, chemically resistant, wet install.
• This is made with a proprietary pattern that I developed from scratch using my own R1S
• Folds around the edges, so you get shop level results.
• Available in over 300 colors, or if you prefer just glossy/matte/satin PPF we have that too.
• Requires ZERO disassembly except removing the badges and then reinstalling them.
• We can send you free replacements as long as they fit in the leftover material (should be enough for any 2 panels and in some cases 3 or more...) you just cover the cost of shipping on replacements.
• We're also partnering with several shops that can do the install for you, if DIY is not your thing. If you enable the "Pro Install" option on our website you will see them. More shops coming soon.
• Compatible with Gen1 and Gen2 R1S.
• Please notice that for Color PPF there's about 10-12 days wait time to receive the roll of PPF as we don't stock most colors. Once we receive it, we will cut & ship to you within a day.
• I am available to help remotely with any questions or issues you may have before, during or after the install.

As for R1T - I currently only own the R1S, and I can't do a full wrap on a rented vehicle as it takes too long + I need to de-badge. The R1T has 6 different panels that are painted (compared to the R1S) - rear doors, gear tunnel door, rear quarter panels, tail gate (2pc), header panel. That's about half the vehicle, so it would likely take me 1-2 months to do this. At the same time the R1T has 1/3 the sales of the R1S, so my thinking is that if the R1S wrap sells well, I will trade in my R1S for a R1T so I can do the T as well.
So bottom line - I very much want to do the T, but I will have to justify it financially first as these things are a significant investment for us, so for the time being I will wait until I see how the S wrap goes.

How much will the original color of the vehicle affect the final look after the colored tint is applied? For example, if I applya yellow color PPF to my Rivian Blue paint color will I end up with a Green tone or does the PPF color cancel the paint color?
