I suspect the availability status will change in the next couple of hours. Everything initially dropped without pricing and then it was added. My guess is the same will occur for availability.I'm getting a "not available at this time" for all of these new products
It works in a pinch. Bottle jacks are almost always better and easier to use. Not sure what you mean about the EV Sportline bottle jack. Not making sense. Don't know about their jack pucks. But if using JackPucks.com or Megawatt pucks, those pucks have a pocket on the bottom sized just right so the bottle jack's ram can fit inside it. It's about as secure as it gets... The rest is a matter of whether your particular bottle jack as enough total lift height to get even the rear tires off of the ground. And if you have something under the bottle jack to give it more stability (especially when used on dirt).Does anyone have experience with the Rivian jack kit?
It doesn't look impressive, but I'm underwhelmed with the usability of my jack from EVSportsline. Replacing a flat with that was a combination of nearly impossible and highly sketchy.
The biggest problem with the EVSportsline Jack (a bottle jack with an extension) is that the extension is too long to fit under the jack point when the tire is totally to-the-ground flat, yet gives barely any clearance to fit a fully inflated tire in the rear.It works in a pinch. Safejacks.com has 6-ton extensions that will fit rams of most bottle jacks under 12-ton.
I've posted before that Safejacks also has bases and a variety of different extension lengths to help stability; depending on your needs (off-road, etc.). IMO most Rivian owners would benefit from watching some of their content. It works in a pinch. Bottle jacks are almost always better and easier to use.
