Hey folks

With the new summer upon us I've decided it's time to tint my R1S' windows so I developed a cut template for the sides and the lift gate.
We use Nano Ceramic window tint that eliminates UV radiation (protecting you from skin cancer) and significantly reduces IR radiation (keeping the cabin cool).
Our kit is currently for R1S only although the front doors + quarters will work on the R1T as well. You can get it here:

What front tint makes the front windows match the factory rear window tint?

I'd say 35% would be decent match if you don't add any tint on the rear.

Twraps is great. I've used a bunch of your stuff ..... I tried to install a similar kit from another supplier and I failed miserably, getting it to sit past the window seal wasn't working and it crinkled as soon as i tried to roll the window down ...chalk that up to user error

You didn’t say whether you waited after install. When I had one of my other cats professionally done, the installer’s instructions were to not roll the windows down for 24 hours. Presumably this is to let the glue set to avoid such issues.

I just watched the video and he does the VLT checks on the OEM windows at the end of the installation. (22:41 is what I put the link at)

As for the window tint - those can be tricky to install indeed, but it greatly depends on the cut. It took me a bunch of trial and error to get to a cut template that is easy to install, and I am not sure anyone else has gone through so much trouble to perfect the cut as I have.

Any plans for windshield tint with ceramic?

I am tempted to do it, the thing is that the 70%+ VLT tints all have some blue hue. 50% in the other hand will be too dark for a windshield...undecided what to do yet. If there is a lot of interest, I might do it and see how it goes.

Just an FYI for those in Michigan - You can get a ticket for having this on the front driver/passenger side windows, except for the top 4 inches.

That aside, cool offering. Always like what @twraps comes up with and the stuff I've got has installed pretty easily.

Wondering what the timeline for the R1T back window is? Also, the windshield. A lot of heat enters through the windshield. Tempted to get the sides if I know the rest is coming. I used TWRAPS front end wrap and it came out great.

Windshield I might try in a few weeks with 50% as I have 50% (haven't stocked 70%) just to see if installation is easy enough to be DIYable. R1T in the other hand will have to wait as I own a R1S and the T I will have to rent but my plate is full of tasks. Most likely I will tackle the R1T either in late summer or early fall, as I want to finish several more products on my R1S and then I'll likely get a Model Y to do (just finished a color PPF wrap on my wife's Model 3 Highland which we will release in a few weeks...Here it is - finished last night after 3 days of wrapping (I know it's not related to Rivian but I suffered so much, I have to vent and brag somewhere! ))

Thanks for the info. I know you said you have 50% material available but in Florida you are not allowed to have any tint on the windshield below the AS-1 line. So a no tint option would be needed, although you could probably get away with 90% or 80% as this would not be that noticeable. Front passenger windows need at least 28% VLT, rear passenger windows and rear windows at least 15% (cars) or 6% (trucks and SUVs). It must be tough to keep all the state laws straight.
