To be clear, NACS is verified support through an adapter.

Also - CarPlay details on page 48!

In the previous paragraph above the line it says

The vehicle is equipped with a NACS (North American Charging Standard) plug, located at the front left corner of the vehicle, and covered by a charge port door.

Only on a few docs, the main dual doc says Native NACS (3rd image)

Still 395 miles range for Trimax R1S on 22’s in conserve and 346 miles in AP. Not surprised but still expect to see Rivian’s continue the game with the numbers they advertise.

Aha! The other pages say an adapter and that J1772 is native. One of these can't be true (though I know too well how these homologation docs go) - so will assume NACS it is.

I assume at this point that these documents are just thrown together for rubber stamping. The curb weights listed confuse me, unless I’m not understanding what I’m looking at?

With the 20” wheels and tires the R1S and R1T are only a lb apart in weight?

There is language in lower of the document that says NACs may be used iirc

Yeah - I can't make any of that make sense in my head.

Thank you for posting BTW - it's good to know it's out there. My complaints are with the sloppy language in the EPA docs, not trying to skewer the messenger.

J1772 is technically the electrical standard. One that Tesla/J3400/NACS also confirm to.

It could just mean “NACS connector with J1772 AC signaling and J3400 DC signaling.”

I don't know if this is the same language for the 2025 models, but I found it interesting. Look at teh last section. Does this denote a running change based on experience with the 2025 models?

There is some other information that is interesting in the docs. Many might find it worthwhile to read through the details.

Damn. Won't be able to charge the truck if it isn't native Tesla plug.
You also need to have CarPlay on or it just won’t work!
