RAN map shows Wickenburg, AZ operational today. Someone should check :)

We need one near Tucson, Rivian!
Or just anything in the SE corner of the state! All the best Tucson area recreation is East of here and all we have is the unreliable Benson charger. I get nervous every time I go to chiricahua monument, near Mt Wrightson, or anything in the vicinity of Apache sitgraves

Almost been stranded in Benson because crappy charger, before

Rivian should buy up all the underutilised Tesla V2 chargers in remote locations and upgrade for all. The underground infrastructure is already there. Anywhere in Nevada, Twin Falls, West Yellowstone, etc...

I’m a little confused by this claim.

I think there’s only one Tesla SC between PHX and Tucson in Casa Grande and while it’s not Rivian compatible there are 3 Tesla SC’s in Tempe/Chandler along I-10
that Rivians can use and one in Marana that is Rivian compatible. These SC’a and an EVgo on Ina are all I need do make this round trip comfortably.

I’ve sadly been making this trip way more often than I like in my 2022 R1T and have no complaints about my fast charging options.

What I meant is from the 202 to Marana there’s no Tesla. I avoid EA like the plague

Well, technically there’s a Casa Grande Tesla SC that Rivians cannot currently use.

Are you finding you need one? It’s only about 100 miles (albeit with elevation gain) between the Chandler/Tempe Tesla Supercharging stations and the Marana Tesla Supercharger.

I’m making the trip regularly and easily in my 2022 R1T Quad Large.

I’m the opposite and try to avoid Tesla. There’s an EVGo station not far from the Tesla Marana SC that serves me well. I know you avoid EA but they are in Casa Grande and at an outlet mall in the Marana area.

My Tucson office location is otherwise fortunate enough to be near a couple free L2 charging sites and using those I don’t always have to fast charge to get back to the valley.

Don’t get me wrong. I’d love to have more L3 options but it’s only 100 miles and our Rivians can make the trip easily.

I guess I’m finding the charging infrastructure between PHX and Tucson adequate for now, but with much room for improvement.

A Tucson Rivian RAN would indeed be fantastic.

Wickenburg is operational and open to all EVs. Great location for trips up to Prescott but of course it is a bit pricey.

I didn’t know Rans took the Tesla approach and charge more for non- Rivian vehicles. Is this new?

It's not simple. Tesla and rivian lease the land for chargers. Tesla leased supercharger spots at zero cost for 10 years.

A lot of v2 leases are not far from ending

Tesla doesn't like to pay for supercharger leases and a lot of v2 might disappear.

Next generation chargers here. 200kw easy. Also a long bed F350 blocking stall 1B. No facilities but shops close by.
