We just got back from a roadtrip on the OEM Pirelli's. Tread was getting low and they started making weird groaning noises on winding roads. After 32k miles it was a sign.
I wanted the Nokian Outpost nAT's but they were out of stock. These Yokohama Geolandar AT4's were available immediately and at the same price so I figured to give them a try. Note the spelling: geolandAr if you're searching (with an A not an E). There isn't much written up here so wanted to post a few pictures and give my initial feedback:
HUGE IMPROVEMENT!! Better than the OEM's on DAY ONE.
They are quiet and have a much softer ride than the OEMs ever did. Even before completely backing out of the parking spot I was thinking: WOW! These are good!
Only a few miles on them so far but a huge, night and day difference. Too early to compare efficiency but I'll post back after our next road trip. We're almost never off-road but I'm sure these will be fine, and they have 3-peak snowflake for winter as well. Running 48psi now but will bump to at least 50.
Cost was just under $1500 installed with tax and tire warranty.
