A new RAN station is under construction in Erie, Pennsylvania with the first Gen 1.5 dispensers I have seen outside of site plans.

They are taller with a longer cable to reach the car port locations on different cars. So this RAN will be open to everyone.

Amenities of any kind are sparse in Southwest NY. I've done that trip a few times myself. I technically could have made it from the Rivian center in Cleveland to Corning without stopping but decided to stop in Salamanca to play it safe. How great would it be if Rivian connects RAN between NYC and now Erie PA along I86.

Would be awesome. I know they are building one in Binghamton. There is a new Evolve NY in Olean and and brand new EA in Friendship, NY which has changed the route for sure. I can make it to Cleveland from Hornell but if they don't charge me to 100% I can't make it back with highway speeds and elevation changes.
