Rivian Black Crossbars installed on R1T (El Cap) -- Photos on roof and bed

I haven’t seen any pictures of the black crossbars on an El Cap R1T, so I took some in both positions over the last couple of days in case you’re curious. I think they look great and I’ll be selling my virtually-brand-new-and-perfect silver ones if you’re interested (I’m in Portland). Enjoy the pics.

They look great, so does your R1T. Are they any different than the silver ones? They look more sleek. Any wind noise when installed on the roof?

They are identical to the silver ones.

As was said by somebody else, they are identical to the silver ones, but I definitely like the look better. Especially with the El Cap paint and dominant black features. The black crossbars just makes sense for this combination, in my opinion.

First ladder on those will scratch them thru to the gray, no?

It's possible, but they seem pretty rugged and have an impressive powder coat. Matte black finish that I suspect will be black, even with surface area scratches. It doesn't feel like black just painted over the silver.

Another forum member stopped by the house yesterday and he and I talked about the crossbars and we looked at them. We both agreed they look sexy and ready for the challenge.

Welcome to Portland this Friday. I sold the crossbars for $480 within 24 hours after I posted these pics. Not sure if I got lucky or they are a hot commodity, I suspect both.
