There seem to be quite a few boat conversations in the group so I thought I'd share!

We are the #1 electric only boat dealer in the U.S. and we are hosting a demo event in September. Details are still being ironed out but it will be either the weekend of 9/21 or 9/28 at the Wharf in DC. We're trying to host in the Spring as well.

Just like electric cars and trucks, electric boats do not make sense in every application but on the right restricted lake, bay, or for the average day boater they are great. The range isn't great at higher speeds but if you stay within 25 miles of your dock like many pleasure boaters do, they can be a great fit.

We will bring 2-4 boats from different OEM's...Duffy, Vision Marine, X Shore, Candela, and Ingenity to name a few.

Message me with a headcount to hold your spot as they will be limited for the weekend.

EVEN IF YOU HAVE ZERO INTEREST IN BUYING, COME CHECK THEM OUT. THEY ARE PRETTY COOL!

Nice! Wish I lived closer. Been watching their development closely.
Sorry we aren't closer! We're in Norfolk VA and are frequently up and down the east coast a bit. I haven't heard much about our westerly or gulf coast travels headed that way.

Thank you!

Very cool. Would love to check your boats out, and only a few hours north of DC, near Philly.

I used to have Sun Cat that was a really fun sail. The only reason I got rid of it was I could never find anyone else - including my wife and grown children - who was interested in being on the water. Solo sailing all the time can become a bit tedious.

I'm a definite maybe for your exhibition.

Sounds cool. If it's the 21st, we'd be interested, but if the 28th, we're heading to Arizona to do some hiking.

I know over a decade ago there were some manufacturers looking into electric wake boats. Has there been any progress? We pretty much ski & ride (@ LKA), not much fishing or cruising.

Cool, come check us out. We will update our planned inventory as we get closer!

It's funny but completely understandable the number of sailors that find interest in electric boats.

I've personally been mostly a power boater until about 10 years ago after taking a sailing class. Now I'm a bit of a hybrid mix. I can definitely see the draw and the added relaxation available in silent propulsion!

Arizona hiking sounds awesome!

There's been quite a bit of progress. Arc and Ingenity have wake boats available now and I feel confident the space is growing.

We've had a great experience with X Shore boats as well, though they don't have a wake boat per se' , the vessels they do have are certainly worth considering.

Let us know what other info we can find for you!
We look forward to seeing you if you're able to come.

Here's a peek at Ingenity's Nautique.

When we moved to VT, our house on the Connecticut came with a Fantail by The Canadian Electric Boat Company. We love that thing and get so much use out of it on the Connecticut it's ridiculous! Would definitely buy another when/if this one poops out. Perfect for sneaking up on bass and cocktail hour cruises up and down the river!

I'll actually be in DC the week of 9/23 for a business trip and staying for the weekend (hopefully both weekends) to visit family. I'm definitely interested!
