Owning a '22 R1T that just received a red light runner hit on Tuesday, I believe it.

'Tis but a scratch. ;)

Do we know if the new results only apply to the 2024 R1T? I wonder what improvements were made as I have a 2022 R1T.
I suspect they don't 'go back' and test 'older' cars.

I would be surprised if anything was updated in these vehicles since the prior test (software notwithstanding). They're just not going to 'certify' 1 and 2 year old vehicles (there's no reason to, and frankly--no time. Could you imagine if they had to re-test EVERY vehicle EVERY year from the past X number of years? That's...not practical).

Rest easy. Your truck didn't go from 'super safe' to 'oh no, it's 2 years old, it's going to explode any second now!!' :D

With the same front end, you'd think so, but no. Somehow the R1S is Marginal in the Moderate overlap front: updated test and Poor in Seat belt reminders, while the R1T is Good in both. This is a downgrade from R1S having "+" in 2023.

Which is funny, because the R1T (also) gives you zero indication of back seat passenger seat belt status as the driver. Seems like a huge unforced error on easy safety.
