Hey Y'all

Jewel and Jurgen here from Seattle Clearbra back again, this time with TWO Xpel STEALTH PPF install's. This time on a Midnight Black R1S and a Compass Yellow R1S at our Seattle Clearbra location. We also offer the same services at our Vancouver Clearbra location and soon to come in November 2023 Nashville ClearBra in Brentwood Tennessee. I love sharing the work we do, especially the Rivian transformations.

Services Preformed

Midnight Black
- Xpel STEALTH satin matte PPF
- Gloss black vinyl chrome delete
- Xpel FUSION PLUS SATIN ceramic coating to body and rim faces
- Xpel PRIME XR UV rejecting Heat rejecting Window Tint
-Paint Emblems Gloss Black

Compass Yellow
- Xpel STEALTH satin matte PPF
- Xpel PRIME XR UV rejecting Heat rejecting Window Tint

Matte finishing are becoming more and more popular but I still do not see too many out driving around Seattle. Xpel STEALTH turns the gloss finish of the R1S into a Matte/Satin finish.

Not only does Xpel STEALTH completely change the look of your vehicle, it also protects your paint, makes your vehicle easier to clean and gaurentees you will never have to polish it again.

The benefits of PPF cannot be overstated. The entirety of your car is protected so you do not have to worry about taking your brand new vehicle out for a drive on the street or on the mountain. It's easy to not worry about an old Jeep or 4runner on the trails but who wouldn't have second thoughts about taking a brand new top of the line R1S or R1T for fear of getting scratches in the paint. With PPF you can have peace of mind your vehicle will stay in the best condition for 10 years or more! You'll save time and money not polishing your vehicle yearly as the film will prevent those small buffable scratches from happening. And you will save even more not repainting panels when something get kicked up into your vehicle.

We sometimes get questions about whether the Xpel STEALTH PPF is harder to clean. We have not seen this to be the case, it is just as easy to clean as the clear film. Many of our clients have chosen to get the Ceramic Coating done after the film install for ease of maintenance and less chance of nasty stuff sticking to the film, windows and rims.

The Chrome Delete has been a popular service as well. The removal of the chrome pieces really gives a sportier finish to the whole vehicle.

Here is a quick video of the installation process for the Rivians the finished product as well. Black R1S Install Yellow Rivian Install

How do you think we did? Which color do you think is the best candidate for the Matte finish?

I was also looking for some feedback for those of you considering PPF, What is the main factor stopping you from getting the paint protection installed?

Thank you again for the support and looking forward to meeting more forum members and continuing the Rivian installs!

I'd consider a wrap if it were only $1k, but the pricing just seems ludicrous to me. To each their own I guess. I'm fine with the original paint and dealing with scratches and dings by either living with them or using a touch up pen/pdr to fix.

Please tell us more about the...
Not all Window Tints are the same. Ceramic tint aims to reflect as much UV and IR as possible so your window is not absorbing the heat from the sun and making your car hot.
Xpel Prime XR PLUS is the most effective. There is this handy PDF from Xpel that you can reference to see which is the most effective.

I totally understand the shock of the pricing. Some people plan on keeping their car for 7-10 years and want it to look the best that it can for the entirety of their ownership. The Stealth PPF doesn't just change the finish of the paint it protects the vehicle, makes cleaning easier and you will never have to polish the vehicle again! These advantages and more over a long ownership can certainly justify the investment to some.

We also offer gloss PPF if the matte isn't your thing. This can be done on just parts of the vehicle to keep the risk of damage down in the areas most prone to rock chips (front) and keeps cost down.

I appreciate your feedback it truly does help. I always love hearing different perspectives to see how we could possibly cater to all potential clients.

Would you consider a partial PPF?
