Yesterday the clouds parted and the sun came out, and the EV Showcase at the Bend Earth Day Parade and Fair was a huge success!
Rob T’s well-accessorized R1T with Roof Top Tent and canopy proved to be the big draw of the Showcase. ‘Let’s Electrify Bend’ set up a table next to the truck bed to power an induction stove for making crêpes.
Brandon K. and Patrick D. gave fairgoers demo drives that put huge smiles on everyone’s faces.
Surprisingly, most folks were aware of Rivian but many had not seen one up close, let alone been for a drive in one. So it was a great opportunity to get butts in seats!
Kids had a blast crawling through the gear tunnel and in the Roof Top Tent. Most were torn between the two as their favorite features.
