I'm....so disappointed at the end. A guy should know that stealing a guys power is the way to go.

Brian, charging the Rivian was the way to go. I'm concerned for your wife's happiness if you don't know how to properly finish off such a setup.

You could have taped a dollar bill to neighbor's outlet to further add to the mystery and avoid a lawsuit.

I turned on "Show and Tell" mode so it's all lit up!!

Yeah, stealing is not cool BUT I'm going to assume he has a good relationship with his neighbor and stealing $10 worth of power is more funny than not.

With couple of long extension cord even 5 amps may be too much. So at average electric rates he would be charging at is perhaps 7 cents per hour.

I should not have said "charge". I should have said "plug the truck in". Since there are a lot of new EV owners here I don't want to suggest that charging with long extension cords is normally realistic. But punking friendly ICE owner neighbors should always be encouraged.
