Pikes Peak HC is the real deal. Will be keenly interested in how Nicols pilots the R1T through the 156 uphill turns over 5k’ elevation gain.

Upon quick competitor scan, looks like a Tesla Model S Plaid and Nissan Leaf may be the only other EVs? Several Tesla’s have done well in recent years.

ICE rigs rule of thumb is 3% HP loss for every 1k increment elevation above sea level, though they aren’t hauling 7.1k lbs to 14k ft either.

It’s amazing. There are only like 7 designated spots where you can watch on the course and even though it’s in June it’s often cold AF if you are higher up on the mountain. You can also watch it for free online.
