I really wouldn’t want my first drive of a Rivian and it being my new vehicle to be a pick up at Brooklyn. Driving through the busiest place in the country and getting through Manhattan on my way back to PA would be hell.

There’s always the scenic roundabout route around 287 crossing the Hudson at the Cuomo Bridge.

Won’t be my first. Picking up the replacement for my first truck delivered late sept. Already done the Brooklyn run once. After pick up it will be About an hour to get from the service center over the 27 dollar bridge and through the tunnel. 12 miles? Then 85 miles and an hour back to Philly. Up and back is 5 hours give or take with time at service center, stops and the like.

^ lol.. there was a building on that corner in Sept 2022 when Google maps took the photos. Now it's an empty lot w/rough concrete surface.
