Love Red Canyon. It looks great on both models. I especially like it with the darkout package. I will see 10 Rivians in a 10 minute trip to Whole Foods in my neck of the woods. The R1S has definitely surpassed the Model X as the EV family hauler of choice.

The iX3 will absolutely be cross-shopped with the R2. The price will be similar and they are both premium mid-size SUV EVs.

It's a mistake to not provide the option and let the customer determine their preferred approach. For me, not having one pedal drive is nearly a deal breaker. I greatly prefer the one pedal experience.

Assuming GM also stays in the game. They are selling less than the Lightning. But I hope these are just rumors. Competition benefits the consumer.

The Lightning is a nice truck, and it would be a shame for customers to lose another compelling option in the market. But if this rumor comes to fruition, I imagine R1T sales would benefit.

If you've driven any vehicle other than Tesla in 2025, you will see how difficult software is to implement in modern vehicles. Rivian software is the second best out there. It could be a lot worse...

I don't know how much of a money maker this would be for Rivian, but I think it's awesome that Lucid allows owners of older Air models to upgrade the infotainment CPU and memory to 2025 model specs.
