I just had a mobile tech at my place and he suggested to get the comprehensive test before your warranty runs out. That way you can get anyhting that needs to be fixed under warranty.
Of course, he works for Rivian, so take it with a grain of salt.
Unrelated, or maybe it is, but when I asked for information on a Finnish hockey player, half of the response was with a Finnish accent. I thought, "well, that's interesting!" When I asked for more information, half of that information was in actual Finnish, or at least, not in English! If I...
Oof! I wonder who will be at fault? The truck without lights on or the SUV crossing the double yellow line? I know whom I feel is more responsible but I'm not sure the law would agree with me.
Did you offer them the video?
There might be lag induced by the Bluetooth connection between the phone and vehicle. I remember trying to use a bluetooth headset and dangle with an electric piano and there was just too much delay to use properly.
I regularly leave my 2023 1st Gen R1T, with ~22K miles, at the airport. I lose approx 1.5% daily. This is with Gear Guard running. My wife's 2022 Tesla M3 performance loses about 4.5%/day in Sentry mode.
That being said, the Tesla is much more responsive when you need to check cameras, set...
The earlier you add your charging stop, during your drive, the better. That way, the vehicle will know to pre-condition the battery before you get there.
Not all Tesla Level 3 superchargers are compatible with non-Tesla vehicles. V1 and V2, specifically, are not compatible. Also, some V3s, if they have not been updated. As such, they should not appear on the in-vehicle map nor in the Tesla app under "Charge your other EV."
My R1T was delivered with IL temp tags here in MD. I just used a transponder and was billed accordingly. In fact, when I tried to register my MD plate to my EZ-Pass account, the system said my plate was already registered to another user. When I inquired further, I was told I would have to get...
Coming from a Tesla, the Rivian will feel noisy. We, specifically my wife, have a 22 M3 and when we got our 1st Gen R1T, this is the first thing my wife noticed.
Ugh! As I was typing this post, I guess a service rep came and went and I missed it. Even though it said I could leave the app, I didn't see the message that said a rep was waiting. Fortunately, the rep opened up a service request anyway and I was able to schedule a date, albeit difficultly...
It seems like, in the past, you could just use the app, describe your problem, add any documentation (pics, video, etc), and a service rep would get back to you later.
Now, it seems, you have to chat with an AI, who doesn't understand what you want. So I'm have a 0 minute wait to chat with a...
Can't tell you which is better but the A2Z had an issue with newer Tesla Superchargers. I found out, this summer, after failing to charge at a few SCs, but the Rivian one worked. When I contacted them they, immediately, sent me an updated version free of charge. So far, it's worked flawlessly...
Ditto. I swap out tires evey 6 months and it takes me more than 1/2 hour. Maybe I'm just slow! 😀
I use the same thing. It's made it a lot easier because you can lift AND rotate the tire with it.
