It's an Ace Folding Motorcycle Trailer. But they are expensive for what you get. And they rattle a lot! Fortunately the Rivian is pretty well insulated against noise so you really don't hear it with the windows closed. I used blue loc-tite everywhere and still had to re-tighten enroute.
Truth...
Not a supercharger but...
We've done this 2k+ miles round-trip twice and have managed not to disconnect once. That being said, the trailer is pretty small so I could often go in and angle the trailer so it wouldn't block anyone.
I would make the appointment ASAP. When I got this .message, my original appointment was months away, just to get me 8n the queue, but they moved it to a week or 2 later. That says to me that it's pretty serious. I've heard that it CAN, in fact, leave you stranded. By necessity, I have to...
Same here. I find that using the driver's display and doing math gets me a more accurate result than the nav's estimate. I routinely do a ~200 mile round trip (including 4 days sitting in the cold), and the nav often estimates that I'll get home with less than 10 miles. I generally return with...
Not entirely true. You can use the console usb to save drivecam footage. I've heard that some have been able to play movies on the screen by re-formatting/re-naming their videos.
Rivian just needs to program the system to play back stored audio.
I used one of these to mount my Galaxy Z fold to my motorcycle:

I screwed a RamMount ball in the back so I could use any RamMount-compatible mounting system. It's pretty adjustable so it'll fit a wide-range of sizes.
Live cameras missing here too. As well as any ability to do anything remotely farther than bluetooth. I sent an email to customer support 5 days ago and have yet to hear a peep!
Teslas have auto-park. Rivian should have auto-hitch! Let the car do the hard stuff!
Until then, maybe just a magnetic wireless backup camera:

Just slap it on and off as needed.
This happens to me as well on my weekly 75-mile commute. I'll follow Waze's recommendation for the shorter, time and distance, route. Eventually, the onboard nav agrees and I end up using less battery than originally predicted. This appeared to have nothing to do with destination battery charge...
Wasn't the point of Tesla opening their chargers to everyone to get the government handouts for EV fast chargers? If they're revoking access, what then? Do they give the cash back? ?
Another thing to consider is future EVs. If ever you decide to get a second EV, some wall chargers can load share, ensuring that they never exceed the max load if they run off the same circuit. I am doing this with 2 tesla wall chargers (even though i have 2 separate circuits).
Consider yourself lucky. My truck went into the shop Aug 6th and I just got it back Oct 3rd. Essentially losing most of the free connect plus. It was even in service mode all of that time so I couldn't even connect to it. ?
To be fair, it was only at the Rivian Service Center for the 1st half...
Yep, my thoughts exactly. 4 adults with luggage... say ~800 lbs (200 per including luggage). Add 60 lbs of drinks... 450 lbs tongue weight. That's ~1300 lbs of the approx max of 1750 lbs capacity. Ignoring, of course, if there's anything in the boat to add to the weight (gas, lawn chairs...
