    Absolutely sick of Alexa's god-awful navigation

    With one or two exceptions, navigation has worked well for me. Alexa is hit and miss but generally fine and for the tasks I know it will work with it's really handy. Most often for me that means turning on steering wheel heater or dimming screen display.

    We live in Winston-Salem and picked up in Richmond. We had one service experience (just to get the spare installed) and mobile service came to our house. Was a piece of cake, though if something big breaks I suspect it'll be a pain. That said, everything perfect so far (roughly 7,000 miles)...

    Issues with blind spot at low speeds

    I haven't noticed a problem before but will take a look next time I head out. Consistency and reliability are a big deal. That is, if I'm going to trust a feature, it needs to always work.

    I've never looked closely enough to know. I quite like my steering wheel... though possibly I should make sure not to look too closely so I can keep my satisfaction intact.

    Can hear the blinker, can see the indicator

    I can not hear the blinker when driving at highway speeds. My steering wheel blocks much of my display, which is frustrating since offering me a different drivers screen layout is a trivial job given the beauty of a software based screen. So... yes.

    From looking at the pictures, if you don't have a dremel then a hacksaw is your friend... or cover the bottom bump you're cutting off with peanut butter and leave it in the back yard for the squirrels to remove for you.

    My New Rivian R1S broken down after 40 days: “Limited Performance” issue.

    We've had our R1S for about 6 weeks now (about 2k miles) and have had no problems. Heck, the much maligned phone charger even works for all of us... Hoping we get our EVSportline running boards soon-ish (semi-competitor pun not intended) so my wife can actually get into her new car :-)

    I actually dislike the turn signal sound when I can hear it. So, sitting at a light or something. It's only a highway speed that I can't hear it and will occasionally forget to turn it off after changing lanes. So I suppose I dislike it both at low and high speeds, just each for different...

    1) Similar to the "Customization of driver screen" note, but if I put the steering wheel where I want it then I can't see the speedometer or the icons across the top of the drivers screen. Would really, really like to be able to shift that information elsewhere on the driver screen or move it...

    Speaking as someone whose best car ever owned (before our model y) was a Honda odyssey and who has never been impressed by lifted trucks... ... I actually think it looks pretty good. Not planning to do that to our r1s when it shows up, but... I give it a thumbs up.

    First time I've seen a video of his and it struck me as reasonable and thoughtful. I have no problem whatsoever with the video or his posting. I wouldn't have seen it otherwise and I'm pleased that I saw it.
