Your Launch Edition R1S estimated delivery window is August - September 2022
Originally May-June
LE / R1S / Limestone / Black Mountain / 20" Dark / Pre-Order June 2019 / 3 miles from Phoenix SC
To be honest I didn’t spend much time since I have already had my test drive and watched a hundred videos. Spent more time exploring others inventions and creative engineering.
Rivian had a white R1T with a camp kitchen and Snow Peak was an exhibitor next to it. The Expo was really cool and Rivian had quite a buzz of people around and talking about it (heard three people mention Rivian as we wandered). Nothing really new on the Rivian front and obviously not an R1S or...
I had my home test drive today in Phoenix. The Rivian employee said that the car hauler was parked at the service center to unload some R1T’s. The R1S kept going West…
Let me know if you are. I am 10 minutes away. I also have my first mile test drive tomorrow and can ask if they are hiding one inside the service center.
CS mentioned in an email response to me that R1S production ramps in June. I currently have a May/June delivery window. Guessing it will be delayed but who knows…
The flowchart is hilarious and probably still accurate... but I'm wondering if the rock cliff at the end of the clip is actually limestone to offer the clue? Any geologists on here?
My email from the dealer and the order form state 2023 model. Here are additional comments from his email about production dates:
"Orders are placed between now and the 17th of December. Production should start at the end of the 1st quarter (March) 2022. Delivery should start 8 to 10 weeks...
Back in September they opened up preorders for a small amount of Debut Edition Lyriq’s. The queue was open for about 8 min online before selling out. We were lucky enough to get one.
Interesting that it was Gold Canyon coming across the 60? Seems like anything going from Normal to CA would be on the I-40. Maybe the driver stopped for some turkey.
I’m in for the max 175 shares even at the new price. Nothing logical to post beyond that there is either incredible demand or they have more announcements coming to back it up, maybe UPS or FedEx vans? I have been involved in two IPO’s and they price it as logically as they can so that it still...
I’m going to say it is all intentional. It is a premium color and I expect they are waiting until production to make sure it is unique. All of the manufacturers have jumped on the flat gray trend over the last couple of years and they don’t want others to copy it quicker than they can produce...
I agree. But, the hope is I don't ever have to hang out there. If a service center in the area is a requirement to deliver then a coat of white paint and plastic chairs in the lobby works for me. :like:
