Reversing with a trailer causes automatic park
So it has happened twice this last time I experimented. I lowered the stance and it stopped auto-parking. It has something to do with angle on hitch and back pressure. Taking to Rivian about it on Tuesday will see what we learn.- exprexxo

I got one for my R1T LE. Very frustrating May shifting to November even as we see people get delivery in less than 6 months. I hope that email is another snafu. -

In 4th year of waiting ... beginning to question if the wait is worth it
Yea the wait is hard and weird. Batteries and Chips make it bad all around along with a pandemic. We have so many uncertainties. I have 3 Tesla Reservations, 1 Rivian res, 2 Apteras res and a Toyota Rav Prime res. All delayed, all frustrating. But the awards and reviews for Rivian look...- exprexxo

$1,075 delivery charge
Delivery charges are one of the vestages of the dealer era. One hopes they go away as EV vendors get more data driven. I clearly would pay them 100 delivery charge to pick it up in Normal and save the world the cost of a transport and all the risk there. I can think of nothing more fun to do... -

I am visiting Alaska this week and the place just screens for Rivians. Perfect match. I do think longer range for the bigger states is smart -

Yea that is common too, I mean that they will not have to pay to transport it I will LOL Texas is a problem state for in state sales but they are very happy If I go get it and bring it home and pay taxes here. Its a crazy position. In general if we can go to facotry they have less... -

You are right a normal process to get car in another state and get it home and pay tax and register. Are they going to let us get them in Normal to save them/us destination costs? I would gladly do that!!!!!!! -

Musk and co on their earnings call stated they will sell adapter and that some chargers will have them. To be seen. But Rivian is using common port so should be capable. Clearly Tesla will prioritize Teslas and take a higher margin on non Teslas -

You are forgiven, I did mean the web configurator. But your point is better, Rivian should release their app to all as soon as they do to the first. Thats how the Tesla App works you can see your orders there too and in Musk's preview statements thats how Rivian's will charge at Supercharger...
