Sorry to bust your bubble but ask any suspension shop about collar lifts. Your compressing the springs for what they are designed for. I'm just here to keep the owners informed about the drawbacks of a collar lift.
This is basically a collar lift. I had the westcott collar lift on my 23 Tundra TuRD Pro. Its awful. Very harsh ride. I had to take it off. I hated driving my truck with it. If you are areas with rough roads, its going to be paintful.
Mine did an awful squeeling noise (feedback) that wouldn't go away.. my wife drove it home with that sound.... it wouldn't go away.. thought it was car speakers when i got it home. it ended up being the camp speaker... had to get full reboot. Its laughable now that she drove home with that sound
I wish this was the case but it isn't. I called the service line and they said it woudl be $140 to do this. I scheduled and it got cancelled because they told me they didn't have the ability to update the SW.
Yes, I asked about the 275/65/20. And thats the response they gave me. I broke down and put the 275/60/20's on. I needed tires, were down to 5/32 and hated the road noise. Due to the road noise, i started disliking driving the Rivian. So had to make the change.
I asked michelin when this will be release. This is their response.
"I see that only 255/75R17/XL, 255/60R20 are releasing in 1st August 2024. And 275/55R21 and 275/45R22 are releasing in 1st September 2024."
I'm bummed.
Agreed, I have been waiting to see that as well.. everytime I ask customer service when they plan on doing this for the R1S dual motors.. they keep saying.. very soon.
I am a pre March price holder for the R1S. It is not a launch edition. I am able to change configuration to the R1T dual motor and dual motor performance with the price adjustments.
I would recommend get an electrician and just relocate your outlet. Or get 2 outlets installed in the garage.. thats what i did on mine. so i can park the Tesla or the Rivian or whatever EV you buy in the future.
