    For what it's worth, my local energy company (Xcel) will only give a rebate if the charger is less than 50 amps. It's in the fine print of the $500 rebate for having a licensed electrician install the charger (they don't give a rebate for purchase of the charger).

    I thought the same thing - that this was just hype on this forum drummed up for drama. But for what it's worth, the guy at the Denver Block Party confidently confirmed that there will be no Coastal Cloud at time of launch.

    I haven't heard any updates or discussions about the Treehouse (roof top camping tent) since the original buzz. Has there been any updates on if this is going to come to fruition along side the launch of the R2? Assuming this is a ~$2k - $3k upgrade, is anybody else interested in adding this...

    Well, looks like this decision by Rivian saved me $10 - $15k or whatever. I was going to get the tri-motor, but I can't wait. ...and subsequent speeding tickets by showing all my buddies how fast the tri-motor is.
