My 2023 R1S quad with factory 20” wheels and Pirellis is finally coming up on its first new tires. There’s scant usage info on the Coopers and plenty information for the Toyos.
i don’t NEED AT tires or 3 peak mountain snow but I like how they look and occasionally lean into them. I do like the...
Service technician told me last Saturday the next OTA is supposed to have an Alexa/Spotify fix. My service advisor said they “hope they can fix it OTA”
I’m not really confident about either as other commenters here and on Reddit have been told that an OTA fix was supposed to be in previous updates
As expected no fix. My advisor and the tech met me. Tech had his computer plugged in and we ran through a couple things. I expected this outcome sadly. I told my service advisor impaid for Connect+ primarily for Spotify/Alexa functionality and I'm paying for a service I can't use. Can Rivian...
The service center has asked me to come in so they can test my phone in person with the technician. What this has to do with my issues IDK but maybe they want to test that Spotify is linked to Alexa?
I actually messaged service priormto my appointment. Like "do you really want me to bring it in?" But now ball is in their court to tell me "sorry we've had your car for two weeks and can't fix it." Still hoping they can. Also Wassym mentioned a handshake issue 2 years ago in a Reddit post.

2 years ago on Reddit Wassym actually mentioned a handshake issue so I agree. And as I recall for ME it started around when they made Spotify accounts driver assignable. Though the problem seems more widespread now.
I don't use Alexa for climate control. It might work. It works for nav even if nav can't always find the actual address LOL. But I can say Alexa navigate to (location). And it will open Amazon music after it tells me to update or DL Spotify. Btw the intake person at Rivian says they're looking...
Cross posted from Reddit.
So Rivian is still trying to fix my Alexa/Spotify issue and other Alexa issues. First time was mobile visit last year. Didn't fix it although back then you could at least reset it for a day. Late November software update sort of fixed it (coincidence?) and they couldn't...
Agreed it should not be on the consumer to fix it. I have an SC visit this morning in which I have zero confidence it'll be fixed. Though futile I plan to ask for them to comp my Connect+ until fixed
