AC/heat turned off manually, courtesy mode on, and then screens off. I camp out every month and frequently have a box fan and fridge cooler plugged in the bulk of the time and I lose about 15-25 miles each day I'm on the land depending on season. 2022 R1T FWIW.
Took place in Maryland. Driver tried turning onto the street we were on while going way too fast. Our R1T saw him coming before I did and automatically braked at the last second. This prevented the car from clipping us (it didn't touch us at all) and possibly making the accident worse for him...
R1T owner but thinking of adding an R1S to our fleet. We have 2 older dogs and I'm curious what the height of the open tailgate is on the S (from the ground up). Can anyone hop outside and measure from ground to open tailgate/trunk?
Wonder if it is lower than the R1T.
I will, randomly, find myself in Normal, IL on Tuesday and Wednesday this week as we venture from Virginia to Iowa. We have a stop in Normal and I was hoping to take a tour and check the place out. We're R1T owners, R2 reservation holders and overall fans of the brand. Have they resumed tours...
OP here. I got my replacement rather quickly after returning the broken ones. Same quality/design, of course. I have little faith it will hold up very long, but at least I have a functional tonneau for the moment!
Rivian already contacted me to work out a replacement -- FWIW. I'll gladly take the replacement but do feel like the plastic overall will be a problem for many people.
I hear what you guys are saying about UPS. They aren't as bad as Fedex appears to be (around here anyway). But I truly believe these wouldn't hold up very long anyway with the brittle plastic on the sides. The slats themselves feel great but the plastic that goes into the rails feels like a bad...
Box looked fine and they were inside the carrying bag. I think was more shocked at how easily the plastic broken when just sliding them in and out in general but maybe they were weakened.
I was excited to see the UPS guy on my ring camera carrying a large Rivian-branded box that I wasn't expecting. I confirmed my address a couple weeks ago but didn't see any indication my tonneau had shipped. Upon opening the box and the case the slats came in, I noticed the sides that go into...
