    To be fair, my friend owns a Hyundai and he is experiencing charging errors too. I told him to drop the speed and it charges fine through the night. Iā€™m not happy with the band aid fix but Iā€™m also like well at least my car can charge.

    Yup, paid Rivian for 11kwh charger and having to have the rate lowered is pretty ridiculous. Itā€™s a band aid fix. Couldā€™ve gotten a 3rd party charged if I wasnā€™t going to get what they advertised the charger to be. disheartening but also glad that I can charge my car.

    Mine the charger never turned red, just the ring around the charging port on the car.

    Ive also had this issue in all of June. After the last update. Took it to service center and they said car is fine and to talk to the charging team at Rivian. Havenā€™t heard back from them so I asked for an escalation as itā€™s been several days and since the car failed charging again tonight.

    Yup youā€™re correct that it sucks. I tried lowering the amps and that didnā€™t help. Charged a bit this morning and it went through fine so just trying to figure out whatā€™s causing the issue.
