Using my R1T, an Adventure in trying it out as a Work Truck. (my initial review w/ pics)

it was half the price. and considering I had just spent more on a truck then I have spent on all my previous vehicles combined, I damn sure was going to at least TRY to use it (and save money for them car payments!) Basically, yeah. She is the smart one!

I see you have the wisdom of many a truck years! I am totally going to do this for future mulch runs. Also I need to get the brown dye out of the bed... soap and scrub isn't removing it as easy as I expected.

My guide asked me if I wanted them to install it before delivery, and I said yes since it is technically required by the state. Not sure if/when the winch comes out, what I will do.

Thanks Mike, yes 'knob' my dyslexic bad. Thanks to the steering wheel physical wheel controlling volume I was able to get used to that. My last car had similar volume control, but I always just reached for the big round knob before. and I do like the next/previous functions for sure! Thanks!

Leave the truck on the charger for 3 weeks or not?

You could leave it plugged in with a one hour charge window per day and minimum limit on charge therefore not adding more than a tiny bit to keep if from vampire dyeing (if that is your fear).

Having borrowed a friends F150 to haul 4x8 before, I see the value, but also acknowledge how for most people it is a rare convenience, not a regular fact of life. To this end though, the ability to haul 4x8 in a convenient to strap down way is enough for me.gate up or down, as long as it can be...
