I don't see that happening, they're forecasting producing low to mid 20k units for this first year. The reservation holders will easily snap up all of this production.
Pics in bright sunlight are not the best for comparisons like this, overcast skies are ideal. Regardless, Esker Silver definitely has my vote over LA Silver.
Living in MI, I can't stand the heat...you can only take off so many layers when outside! At least I can add layers in the extreme cold snaps. With that being said, give me a dry hot if I have to be in it. Humidity sucks 🤣.
I've said this several times this forum, there is NO reason to go over 100 mph on public roads. The number one cause of traffic fatalities is SPEED. Please be on a track when pushing the limits, I knew someone who was killed because another driver was going WAY too fast.
I'm guessing this work would look similar to one that has gone through more intense prep and install. The issue is probably longevity but for a few hundred dollars, looks great!!

That’s the beauty of it, if someone is paying the asking price they know damn well what MSRP is, they simply want their R2 now! It’s just a business transaction, no guilt at all.
Polestar is doing well from a global perspective. Seems they were starting to get a bit of traction here in the States until the fear mongers stepped in with the spying BS.
So many things can happen between now and when R3 is ready to launch...both good and bad. I do remember reading several articles and posts a few years ago in how Rivian's days were almost over. Been an interesting ride so far, for sure...Go Rivian!
This article seems to be a cautiously optimistic view of the recent stock offering.

Looking forward to seeing what they put in their next generation R1 some day, pretty sure Rivian is aware they need to upgrade the DCFC experience with that line ;).
Ha, iX7 is indeed coming. I'm certain one could spec it out to $150k, but also certain it can be optioned much less than that. Probably more in alignment with R1S DMP or Tri pricing.
My guess is they are putting it out there and seeing what happens, and will simply keep it if no one bites. There are many with plenty of $ and not enough patience, Ha!
