Oops, I typed it wrong and just fixed it. It actually shows better range in all purpose than in conserve when I put it in the NAV and look at the arrival estimate for range.

On my last 2 weekend ski trips my estimate on arrival was higher in AP than it was in conserve. Has anyone else seen this?

I think they have been clear from the beginning that they were never going to let you have free LTE data forever. Does any automaker do this? Obviously they are paying AT&T for it and just passing that cost on to us.

Many people are beyond 20k miles and a year of ownership with no 12v issues. Others have the issue within the first few months. I doubt replacing proactively will make much difference, seems like something is drawing down the battery in certain instances.

Yea but in the future as the grid gets cleaner EVs will be the future. The eFuels would require massive solar energy that could just power the grid instead. And the eFuels still have tailpipe pollution and will always require distribution to gas station.

It’s not that simple though. There aren’t enough renewable sources and there won’t be for a while. Plus you never eliminate the carbon footprint of producing and transporting these fuels to stations. The beauty of electric is we already have a grid to transport “fuel” with no carbon emissions...

You’re talking to people who took delivery in 2022, compared to then this is a very low risk purchase. Worst case IMO is a buyout and given how many ICE makers are behind on EVs there would be no shortage of interested suitors.

All you really need to do is get 2 identical Rivians with different tires and go do an efficiency test together on the same exact route at the same time. I’m not sure why Out of Spec hasn’t done it already.

Huh, I'm guessing we will get the camera change and much of the ride improvements from the OTA. Mine is already pretty quiet and AC works great so i'll stay put! Interested to see how these LFP batteries handle the cold.
